The move from tape to file begins with encoding. Encoding is more than just digitization as it involves a digital re-mastering process that ensures the required quality for maintaining a reusable digital archive. Our solutions allow for quality control, monitoring and metadata tagging all in real-time. The process results in universal access to content for anyone authorized to access the system. Once the content is digitized, descriptions (metadata) are attached and can be enhanced easily at a later date as needed.

Metadata allows for searches to be performed, eliminating the need for physical searches in the library and screening of tapes to find specific clips. Searches can be executed instantly from the desktop, remotely on the Web and across the entire library.
